According to a report by a South Korea publication, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Fold 2 may launch on August 5. Samsung has reportedly cancelled its physical Unpacked 2020 Event due to the ongoing pandemic and these phones are expected to be unveiled via an Unpacked 2020 digital event.
A Samsung Electronics staff member said the company is considering the August 5 launch date for its upcoming flagships but Samsung is yet to make any official announcement regarding this. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will be the successor of Samsung Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone and the Galaxy Note 20 Series will be the successor of the Galaxy Note 10 Series. Some major improvements are expected in both smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to be priced from $1,880 (approx Rs. 1,45,000), this time it is rumoured that the foldable phone will have a larger external display, better cameras, 5G support, ultra-thin glass protection and S Pen support.
Coming to Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Series, it is reported that this series will have 3 models and the naming will be similar to Samsung Galaxy S20 Series so their name may be – Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. These three models will have variations in their specifications like the Galaxy S20 Series.
