Redmi Y3 Specifications

Redmi Y3 sports a 6.26-inch HD+ IPS display with 720×1520 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and P2i hydrophobic coating. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 632 processor paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM.

Coming to its main highlight which is its camera then the Redmi Y3 has a dual rear camera setup which consists of a 12 MP primary camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2 MP secondary camera for depth-sensing. The rear camera setup features phase detection autofocus (PDAF), electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and a dual LED flash. Coming to front then Redmi Y3 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with EIS, auto HDR, and an AI portrait mode. Redmi Y3 will come in two internal storage options – 32 GB and 64 GB, which can be expanded upto 512 GB through microSD card.

It has a dual-SIM (Nano) slots and for connectivity Redmi Y3 includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures in at 158.65×76.43×8.47 mm, and weighs 180 grams. Like other Xiaomi phones Redmi Y3 also has IR blaster and rear fingerprint sensor. Redmi Y3 packs a 4,000 mAh battery. Out of the box the Redmi Y3 will be running MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

For camera the Redmi 7 has a dual rear camera setup which consists a 12 MP primary camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2 MP secondary sensor. The rear camera setup offers phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a dual-LED flash. For selfies, the Redmi 7 sports a 8 MP selfie camera, and it has AI portrait mode as well as AI Beautify 4.0. Redmi 7 will come with 32 GB internal storage for both variants and will be expandable upto 512 GB through microSD card slot.

Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7: Price and Availability

Redmi Y3 will be available in Bold Red, Elegant Blue, and Prime Black colour variants. It will go on sale from April 30 via Amazon India, Mi.com, and Mi Stores. Redmi Y3 launch offers include up to 1,120 GB of 4G data from Airtel with unlimited calling.
