Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi will soon launch the successor of Redmi 6A. The smartphone has been certified by TENAA, which hints that the launch may be soon. First Redmi 7A will come to China and later it is expected to come in India.
Redmi 7A Specifications
According to TENAA listing, the Redmi 7A sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 720×1440 resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core processor (most likely Snapdragon) paired with 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options. For internal storage the phone will have 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB options.
In the camera department, Redmi 7A will have a 13MP rear camera and for selfies it will have a 5MP camera. The Redmi 7A will house a 3900 mAh capacity battery. The phone will measure 146.3×70.41×9.55mm (HxWxD) and will weigh 150 grams.
TENAA listing also confirms that the Redmi 7A will be running Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box. Coming to design then the Redmi 7A will look similar to the Redmi 6A. It will have a similar 18:9 aspect ratio display with the Redmi branding at bottom chin. On back, the camera design has been changed to vertical instead of horizontal setup. This time also the phone will miss out the fingerprint scanner.
