OnePlus on May 14 in their OnePlus Event held in Bangalore launched their next Flagship Killer and the successor to OnePlus 6 Series – The OnePlus 7 Series which has two phones namely OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The main highlights of OnePlus 7 Series are Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos support, UFS 3.0 storage and Warp charge. OnePlus 7

OnePlus 7 Specifications:

The OnePlus 7 sports a 6.41 Optic AMOLED Display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU. For storage, the phone has up to 256 GB of internal storage. The memory can’t be expanded.

Coming to the main highlight of the phone which is its camera, it has dual rear camera setup which consists of Sony IMX586 48 MP primary camera (f/1.6), a 5 MP depth sensor (f/2.4). For selfie shooter, the OnePlus 7 has 16 MP sensor (f/2.0) along with AI features.

For security, the OnePlus 7 packs an in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock feature. It also packs a 3700mAh battery and supports warp charge.

As of connectivity options the OnePlus 7 has 4G LTE,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC,GPS and A-GPS and USB Type-C.

OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications:

The OnePlus 7 Pro sports a 6.7-inch Quad-HD Fluid AMOLED Curved Display with 93% screen to body ratio, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 90 Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness and HDR/HDR10+ support.

OnePlus 7 Pro

It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coupled with up to 12 GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU. For efficient heat management the OnePlus 7 Pro has Liquid Cooling.

For storage, the phone has up to 256 GB of internal storage which cannot be expanded further.

OnePlus 7 Pro

Coming to the main highlight of the phone which is its camera, then the OnePlus 7 Pro has triple rear camera setup which consists of Sony IMX586 48 MP primary camera (f/1.6), a secondary wide-angle camera of 16 MP (f/2.2) and an 8 MP depth sensor (f/2.4). The depth sensor is a telephoto lens and will provide a 3x optical zoom and has OIS. The rear camera setup has three focus types PDAF, CAF and Laser Focus, the phone with the help of AI will automatically decide which focus to use. This triple rear camera setup is backed up with OIS. For selfie shooter, it has 16 MP sensor (f/2.0) housed in a pop-up module along with AI features.

OnePlus 7 Pro has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For security, it packs an in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock feature.

Oneplus 7

Compared to its smaller sibling, the OnePlus 7 Pro packs a 4000mAh battery and will have support for Warp Charge. The phone will be charged up to 48 % in just 20 minutes.

As of connectivity options the OnePlus 7 Pro has 4G LTE,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC,GPS and A-GPS and USB Type-C.

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro: Variants and Price

OnePlus 7 Pro Mirror Grey will be available through Amazon India starting from 17th May and 16th May for Amazon Prime Members and Nebula Blue colour variant will be available from May 28. The OnePlus 7 will be available from June. The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in different variants with colour options depending on variants.

  • OnePlus 7 with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage – Rs. 32,999 (Mirror Grey)
  • OnePlus 7 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage – Rs. 37,999 (Mirror Grey and Red)

OnePlus 7 Pro Price:

  • OnePlus 7 Pro with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage – Rs. 48,999 (Mirror Grey)
  • OnePlus 7 Pro with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage – Rs. 52,999 (Mirror Grey, Red, Nebula Blue
  • OnePlus 7 Pro with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage – Rs. 57,999 (Nebula Blue)

With OnePlus 7 Series launch, OnePlus also announced new OnePlus Experience Stores in Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. OnePlus will be upgrading the Mumbai OnePlus Experience Store and the new Hyderabad will be the World’s largest OnePlus Store.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 was also announced its the successor of the first generation Bullets Wireless. the main highlights of Bullets Wireless 2 are 10 mm dynamic driver, Qualcomm aptX HD support and Warp Charge. OnePlus claims the Bullets Wireless 2 will offer 14 hours of playback time on a single charge, and with the support of Warp Charge, the Bullets Wireless 2 will offer 10 hour playback time with just 10 minutes of charge. The Bullets Wireless 2 has been priced at Rs. 5,990.
