HMD Global Launched The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic In India

HMD Global launched the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic in India after launching it in Europe this March.

The original Nokia 5310 was thinner and lightweight than the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic revamped version. The feature of the new Nokia 5310 XpressMusic phone is that it comes with dedicated buttons for music playback control and volume.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic features a 2.4-inch TFT display with a QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6260A processor and runs on Nokia’s Series 30+ operating system. It is paired with 8MB RAM and 16MB internal storage with an option to increase the storage up to 32GB via microSD card.

The phone has a plastic built with a 13.1 mm thickness. It weighs 88 grams. It is equipped with a VGA camera on the back supported by an LED flash. It has a 3.5mm jack to connect earphones and comes with support for Bluetooth 3.0.

You get a physical volume control buttons on the left and media playback controls- play/pause/play next or previous track on the right side. You can also use the media playback control to switch FM radio channels.

The Nokia 5310 comes with a 1200mAh battery that lasts up to 20 hours of talk time for the single sim variant and lasts 7 hours for dual sim variant. It can last up to 22 days on standby mode on dual sim variant and 30 days on a single sim variant.


Nokia 5310 XpressMusic is priced at Rs 3,399. It is available in two colors– white and black with red accented buttons. The phone is available to purchase from the Nokia India store and Amazon India starting from June 23. The Nokia 5310 will make it to the offline markets in the coming weeks as well.
