Xiaomi has teased the India launch of Mi A3, which will be the successor of Mi A2. The Mi A Series smartphones are Android One based smartphones, keeping this in mind the Mi A3 will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and will provide stock Android experience unlike other Xiaomi phones which run MIUI on top of Android.

Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain on Monday released a teaser video to suggest the debut of the Mi A3 in the country. The video, which is of one minutes and 23 seconds, doesn’t reveal any specifics, but it does give a glimpse at the new Xiaomi phone.

Mi A3 teaser was posted on Xiaomi India Twitter page, the teaser video features Manu Kumar Jain (Xiaomi India, Managing Director) who is asking Mi fans to predict the launch date of the upcoming Mi A3 in India. In the teaser video we get a glimpse of the upcoming Mi A3, we can see that the phone has blue coloured gradient back.

Mi A3: Expected Specifications and Price

Last month Xiaomi launched the Mi A3 in Spain, so the price and specifications are likely to be same. But there may be some differences.

Mi A3 will come with 6.08 inch HD+ AMOLED display having 720×1560 resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop style notch. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and will have upto 4 GB of RAM. It will be running stock Android 9.0 Pie.

In camera department, Mi A3 sports a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 48 MP primary sensor, 8 MP wide angle secondary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies it has a 32 MP sensor.

Mi A3 will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, 4,030 mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. Mi A3 will come in two storage options – 64 GB and 128 GB, both will be expandable via microSD card.

According to Spain pricing of Mi A3, it will cost around Rs. 19,900 for 64 GB variant and Rs. 22,900 for 128 GB variant.
