Apple refreshed its iMac lineup with hardware improvements on Tuesday. This new hardware update comes after the iPad lineup refresh on Monday. The main highlights of the 2019 iMac lineup is 9th-Gen Intel Processors (upto octa-core) and Radeon Pro Vega graphics which is a first on iMac lineup. The old 21.5 inch non-retina iMac will not be discontinued and still will be sold in India. Apple is saying that the new iMac’s will have performance boost upto 60 percent.
The new iMac lineup has two models, 21.5 inch iMac with Retina 4K display and 27 inch iMac with Retina 5K display. The 21.5 inch iMac will come with new hexa-core CPU, this new CPU will offer upto 60 percent more performance compared to the last generation. It will have RAM capacity upto 32 GB.
The 27 inch iMac will come with hexa-core and octa-core CPUs which will offer upto 2.4 times more performance than last generation. It will have RAM capacity upto 64 GB.

“Customers are going to love the huge boost in iMac performance. With up to 8-core processors and powerful Vega graphics, the iMac lineup is stronger than ever,” said Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac Product Marketing.
New iMac lineup price in India
The 2019 21.5 inch iMac with Retina 4K display price in India starts from Rs.1,19,900 and 2019 27 inch iMac with Retina 5K display price in India starts from Rs. 1,69,900.
The new iMac’s will be available via Authorised Apple resellers from next week.
